Parliamentary Lobbying

The EBC has been successful in influencing the topics for brain research to be funded by the European Commission and this will continue to be an important part of our mission.  However, at a higher level, recognition of the importance of brain research and the allocation of appropriate funding lies in the hands of the member states and their parliamentarians.  Therefore the EBC is launching a campaign in the European Parliament that will work together with our member organisations and national campaigns to impress on policy makers the importance of brain research in tackling the major health and societal issues posed by brain disease, now and in the future.
